Soledad Nunez is a multifaceted professional with a passion for entrepreneurship, community development, and empowering others. As the Manager of Power Humanity LLC, a women-owned business, she enhances business efficiency, potential, property management and home improvement services. Soledad utilizes her diverse skill set to drive success.
Hailing from a Dominican Afro-Latina immigrant and raised in New York City, Soledad draws on her experiences growing up in a big family of strong women to drive her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to community development.
With a background in psychology from CUNY BCC, Soledad has worked as a postal letter carrier, substance abuse counselor, and investor in various businesses, including Heart Science Midwifery PLC, a women-owned independent healthcare provider. She holds certifications in OSHA and CPR and is a notary for the state of Connecticut.
Soledad’s professional experience spans property management, finance, and social work. She has worked as a postal letter carrier for USPS, a poll worker for the Board of Elections in New York City, and a substance abuse counselor at Gramercy Park Medical Group, PC. She has also worked in property management, both locally and abroad.
As a dedicated volunteer and community leader, Soledad is a volunteer member of the National Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals (NCCLP), Neighborhood Revitalization Zone Groups (NRZ), and Seaview Community Development Corporation, among other organizations. A former president of Seaview Village Condominium Association LLC, where she enhanced the community’s safety, security, administrative and luxury features. She serves as a commissioner board member for Planning and Zoning in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Through her work and volunteerism, Soledad aims to empower women and minority-owned businesses, promote legal recourse, affordable living, and community development, and create thriving neighborhoods where people can live and prosper. She believes in harnessing the power of business and community to create a better future for all and inspiring others to foster a legacy of resilience, determination, and collective success.
